(This pathetic little prayer of consecration is mine and mine alone–no Bishop, no priest or religious has approved–I understand private devotions to be acceptable so long as they conform to the theology and doctrines of the Catholic Church–What is written here is mostly only original in its organization, much of the thinking, ideas, and many words have come from reading the lives and writing of Saints, apologists, the Catholic Catechism, priests and my conversational prayer with the Blessed Virgin–I claim no authority in the Church other than to be slave to the Handmaiden of the Lord–what follows is my daily Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary as inspired by St. Louis de Montfort.
